Errrrr maybe it's because i didn't see 1 or 2 but there was very little character development. Even the "monsters" seemed only to be shown in their full nastiness near the end of the movie. I did't know why the main character was sick or couldn't go down to help his sister when she was in trouble. The monsters? stupid. Lots of blood though. I didnt' get it, and pesticide has never looked more inviting.
